About the Owner
My name is Karen Stubbs, Cake Artist and Owner of Simply Sweet Endings, a custom wedding and celebration cake company located in McDonough, GA. I am a self-taught cake artist using the awesome cake community as my teachers. I have not always been a Cake Artist. I spent over 20 years in the financial services industry as an Accountant and Auditor. During the recent recession, I seized the opportunity to exercise my desire to blend art with confection.
The Beginning
The humble beginnings of my cake career began as a teenager as I tried out my culinary skills in my mom's kitchen. Taking my cues from my dad who was a chef and restaurateur, I love to bake! Even on holidays, I love to prepare a beautiful dessert table for my loved ones. And so it is the same with Simply Sweet Endings. I am always searching for inspiration. Honing my craft through the years to bring you a level of excellence and unique, professional artistry for all my sweet cake creations, it has been my privilege and delight to have made beautiful and delicious cakes for so many people.
